Spring Break Opening Hours

Between Monday 25 March - Monday 15 April, the Careers and Employability Centre will be closing for 1 hour each day over lunch. The new hours are:

  • Monday-Friday | 9.30am-12.00pm and 1.00pm-4.00pm
  • Closed Friday 29 March
  • Closed Monday 1 April 

We’re still here to offer you support during the spring break.

If you're looking for part-time work and need your CV checked, you can drop in to the Careers Centre on Monday-Friday between 1.00pm-4.00pm and speak to a member of our new Student Advice Team - no appointment needed!

Student StartUp

Did you know you may be eligible to complete a Self-Employed Placement year? Replacing the traditional year in industry, the self-employed year gives you the time and space you need to focus on developing and growing your own business. During the year, you will get support from the Student Startup Team through 1-1s, hands-on workshops and funding opportunities.

Are you a final year or recent graduate? Register with the Graduate Recruitment Consultancy

If you are a final year undergraduate student and are interested in securing a graduate-level role in Portsmouth or the surrounding areas then you will be able to register with our free Graduate Recruitment Consultancy service run by university staff. If you are a Masters student, then you need to register here.

The recruitment team is on hand to offer support with interviews and feedback and help source jobs on your behalf. Some of the roles they work with do not get advertised anywhere else!
