Careers in the Curriculum

The University of Portsmouth’s strategic aims have employability and enterprise as central themes.  The University is committed to ensuring that all students engage in a life-changing experience and achieve successful graduate outcomes.

Faculty Careers and Enterprise Advisers contribute to curriculum developments, working with faculty teams and committees on improvements to career elements of the curriculum.  Please contact your Faculty Careers and Enterprise Advisers if you would like to discuss this further.

There are three principle ways in which Careers in the Curriculum can be developed:

  • Credit rated careers and enterprise units can be developed and designed by our team.
  • We can work with you to develop materials and resources for use in your curricula.
  • Support can be offered to identify where employability and enterprise skills are embedded in your curriculum.
You can find out more about the employability guidance and research which has shaped our services via the Higher Education Academy website; with a focus on embedding employability in higher education.
