Graduate Destinations

The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey provides first destinations of graduates six months after the completion of their course. This data gives an insight into the initial career choices of students finishing courses in your department, for example, the type of employment or the post graduate course entered.

The class of 2017 will be the final cohort to undertake the DLHE survey. A new Graduate Outcomes survey will replace the current DLHE survey and will include a significant change in approach as the census date will move to 15 months after graduation.

The data from the survey can help you:

  • Give prospective students examples of some of the graduate destinations open to them with a degree from Portsmouth.
  • Provide current students with ideas and inspiration when exploring their future career options.
  • To find out more you can view the Faculty, Department and Course Destination Reports. (This is only available to staff via the intranet).

If you have any questions about the survey or graduate outcomes please contact Paul Spendlove (x2688) or Guy Townsin (x2691) in the Department of Employability.
