Roel Boon (1980) is a forensic psychologist and currently works for the National Police of the Netherlands. After graduating with honor in Cognitive Psychology at Leiden University he finished the Master of Criminal Investigation at the Dutch Police Academy. He is the founder of the eWitness, an investigative interview tool for obtaining Free Reports with the assistance of  automated instructions (and the ability to digitally sketch and make notes an A3 tablet). He conducted experiments on witness interviews with police officers and reviewed several criminal cases. In his job as a project manager he initiated the nationwide implementation of investigative tools (such as the Self-Administered Interview) for the Dutch police and developed interview training for their investigative officers.
