I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Portsmouth. My interest in health science led me to medical physics department at the QA hospital in Cosham where I have characterised a novel material for use in thermoluminescence dosimetry. This early stage of the study has led to a proposal for further research.

My current research is in the field of thin film technology. Specifically, development and characterisation of flexible films in nanometre scale and study of their structural and magnetic properties. I use physical vapour deposition technique to grow films in order to explore their unique properties that may have a potential to advance modern technology.

I also assist with laboratory sessions for first year undergraduate physics students.
