I graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University (Turkey) with a BA (Hons) in Psychology (2011), an MA in Organisational Psychology (2016) and an MSc in Psychological Studies (2015) from University of Glasgow. February 2017 I started my PhD under the Supervision of Dr Darren Van Laar, Mr Simon Easton and Dr Zarah Vernham. My PhD studies are funded by the Turkish government with a scholarship developed to meet the needs of qualified personnel of Turkish universities.

My MA Masters dissertation was about career decision making of Turkish Academics. My current research focusses on Quality of Working Life, stress and workers well-being. I am interested in the factors affecting the Quality of Working Life of Turkish workers and if there is any difference from the factors that are used in Western countries. I am also working on adapting the Work-Related Quality of Life (WRQoL) scale to Turkish with the hope of increasing the usability of the questionnaire with a more reliable translation.
