It consists of several teams, dealing with wide-ranging international aspects from admissions and recruitment to visa support, student engagement, marketing and international exchange and study abroad partnerships. With a recently revamped structure, we work to deliver the aims of the Global Engagement Strategy through our activities here in the UK, as well as at our international offices across the globe.

Admin Team

The Admin Team deliver outstanding customer service to enquiring students and colleagues around the University (as well as external agents and partner organisations) and providing comprehensive administrative support to the wider department, ensuring all policies and procedures are carried out in accordance with University rules and regulations and aligning with best practice.

Exchanges and Study Abroad

The Exchanges and Study abroad team provides advice and support to all students interested in studying or working abroad as part of their degree, as well as providing opportunities for Academic and Professional staff to undertake teaching or training activities with the Erasmus+ programme. The team is also responsible and the first point of contact for all incoming exchange and study abroad students to the University.

International Student Advisers

The International Student Advice team provide immigration advice and support to international students studying at the university. They are are the only team in the university who are qualified to give visa advice to students. They also manage the International Orientation Programme and social and cultural events.

Recruitment Team

The team of Global Recruitment Officers attend recruitment fairs, raise awareness of the University and promote us around the world. They each have regions that they look after and build and maintain relationships with agents, schools, partners and colleges in those regions.

Marketing and Conversion

 The Global Marketing Team supports all marketing and communications requirements for the UoP Global including digital and social media to printed publications. They are involved with raising brand awareness and the promotion of the University and its courses around the world.

The Conversion Team assist with converting offer holders into students by providing details of outstanding conditions and answering applicant questions.

The Global Engagement Team manage partnership agreements, visiting delegations, international student data analysis, the International Student Ambassador Scheme and outgoing International Summer Schools.

Admissions Team

The Admissions Team process Undergraduate and Postgraduate applications who have applied via an official Agent or Partner of the University. This involves assessing the applicant meets the University entry requirements for each course. The Team also produces offer letters, liaising with Agents and Partners directly over the admissions cycle.
