In addition to these surveys, the University of Portsmouth is keen on exploring the student experience further and therefore runs some internal surveys and also participates in various one-off projects such as the HEFCE funded Postgraduate Experience Project (PEP)in 2015/2016 and the International Student Barometer (ISB).

From January 2018 to September 2018, UoP ran the Transforming the Experience of Students through Assessment (TESTA) project,  involving 10 courses. The aim is to expand this pilot project to more courses and improve the quality of student learning through addressing programme-level assessment across the university.
