The Marketing group at University of Portsmouth undertakes and publishes original research in top international marketing and tourism journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, European Journal of Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Small Business Journal, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Travel Research, Psychology & Marketing and Tourism Management.

Our current students are working on a range of exciting research studies, ranging from branding, social marketing and sharing economy. While each research topic is unique, all students benefit from the active research community offered within the subject group.

We have an international community of doctoral students.  We provide all of our students with a vibrant research environment within which to develop. As well as workshops and research training provided by the Graduate School Development Programme, you will be invited to participate in subject group research seminars and research groups.
