A graduate of the highly acclaimed MA Fashion Menswear programme at the Royal College of Art in London, I have designed menswear for both high-end and commercial fashion brands in the UK and Italy, and worked extensively at both Men’s and Women’s catwalk shows during Milan Fashion Weeks, as well as advertising campaign photo shoots featured in many of the world's leading fashion magazines.

Prior to joining the Fashion and Textile Design course at Portsmouth, I was a Design Tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate students for many years at prominent establishments including the Royal College of Art, University of the West of England, Brighton University and HAMK in Finland, and also responsible for setting up and establishing the fashion design course at the University of South Wales in Cardiff.

Teaching Responsibilities

I am a Principal Lecturer in Fashion Design, and Course Leader of MA Fashion & Textiles and BA (Hons) Fashion and Textile Design courses.

I coordinate units across both undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Intermediate Research and Development and Intermediate Design Resolutions (Level 5),  Advanced Design Development (Level 6) and Fashion & Textiles: Industry (Level 7).

In my own design practice and research interests, I continue to develop creative design solutions to tangible problems in a rapidly shifting cultural and economic landscape within fashion, and am developing a reputation as an innovative and forward-thinking designer.
