1999-2004. UMBI, Center of Marine Biotechnology.  Environmental microbiology postdoctoral research in Dr Kevin Sowers’ laboratory. Molecular identification and characterization of anaerobic microorganisms associated with PCB dechlorination. This study focused on the use of molecular tools to examine the ecology and distribution of microbial communities associated with PCB dechlorination.
