Biography

Dr Jane Creaton is a Reader in Higher Education. She is currently leading on two funded research projects: Postgraduate Research Student Mental Health and Wellbeing (supported by £150,000 from the HEFCE Catalyst Fund) and The Impact of Professional Doctorates in the Workplace. She was previously Principal Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice in the Institute of Criminal Justice, where she published on a range of topics including vulnerable witnesses, the legal profession and criminal justice policy. She contributes to the Professional Doctorate in Education and the Graduate School Development Programme and is supervising several professional doctorate and PhD students.
