Teaching Responsibilities

I am unit co-ordinator for the undergraduate unit Discrmination and Conflict in employment Law and teach Employment Law, Applied Contract Law and Discrimination and Human Rights Law to undergraduate students. At postgraduate level, I teach Business Liability and Employment Law.

As Knowledge Transfer Co-ordinator, I am responsible for delivering continual professional development programmes to local employers and for engaging with both small business and the voluntary sector. I have received a grant from the Higher Education Innovation fund to work with small businesses in the area supporting them on a variety of legal issues.

My research interests focus on discrimination law and current research projects include examining discrimination within discrimination in relation to pay and age and I am currently writing a book in Business Ethics for the Brazilian educational market.
