I am currently studying for my PhD in Strategy, Enterprise and Innovation at the University of Portsmouth. Prior to my current studies, I achieved a Master’s degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of Westminster.
I am working as Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Aberdeen Business School, I have been engaged immensely in delivering lectures and conducting seminars over a range of modules at both, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I also run a charitable organisation focusing on health and education awareness in the developing countries. Previously, at the Portsmouth Business School, I ran consultancy teams as a part of Business Enterprise Unit. Two years in a row, 2016 and 2017, my teams were crowned the runner-up position out of 50 teams, for creating biggest the impact on the organisations they were consulting with.
My research focuses on closing the gap between university curriculum on entrepreneurship education and learning in entrepreneurial social networks. I am using participant observations and interviews to understand entrepreneurial learning in social networks and comparing it with current tools being used in the Higher Education to teach entrepreneurship using analytical hierarchy process (AHP).
